Gran Kaz Supports Literacy with Donation to SAREP
On Monday, 23rd December 2024, the warm ambiance of Kenwyn House became a haven for storytelling as Gran Kaz made the 4th donation of its “10 for 10” Corporate Citizenship campaign to the Seychelles Association of Retired Education Professionals (SAREP). This contribution will support SAREP’s efforts in promoting literacy and encouraging a love for reading among Seychelles’ youngest learners.
The handover ceremony, held at 10 AM, was followed by a special read-aloud activity for children aged 3 to 6. Led by SAREP members, the session brought stories to life with vivid narration, laughter, and a sprinkle of imagination. As little faces lit up with joy, the room became a testament to the power of books and storytelling to inspire young minds.
SAREP plays an instrumental role in advancing literacy in Seychelles through various educational initiatives aimed at both children and adults. With Gran Kaz’s support, SAREP will be able to expand its programs, fostering a culture of reading and lifelong learning. The donation reflects Gran Kaz’s commitment to promoting education and empowering individuals through knowledge.
Gran Kaz Head of Operations, Jonathan Paul, commented: “Supporting education and literacy is one of the cornerstones of Gran Kaz’s values. SAREP’s work in promoting literacy among different generations is invaluable, and we are proud to contribute to their mission through this donation.”
