Gran Kaz Supports Northern Tang Soo Do's Journey to the World Championships
Gran Kaz is proud to announce a pledge of SCR25,000 to support the Northern Tang Soo Do Studio's participation in the World Tang Soo Do Association (WTSDA) World Championship 2024. This prestigious event is set to take place from July 11th to 14th in Greensboro, North Carolina, USA.
Last October, the Northern Tang Soo Do team showcased their remarkable talent at the African Championship in Maputo, Mozambique. The team, comprising 10 dedicated competitors ranging from 4 to 47 years old, achieved extraordinary success by bringing home 14 medals: 5 gold, 5 silver, and 4 bronze. Notably, they secured the overall best in the 14 to 15-year-old male category.
Their stellar performance in Maputo led to significant accolades, including Best Female Senior Karateka and Best Junior Male Karateka. Additionally, the team earned nominations as top five finalists in both the Senior Female and Junior Male categories at the Sports Awards earlier this year.
