Gran Kaz Employee – local hero

For those of you who may have missed the news report on Sunday night, we are very proud to inform you that Mr. Alain Bistoquet who has been a Security Guard with Gran Kaz since September 2017 bravely risked his own life on Saturday 21st April, to save a group of young children who were drowning at Anse Marie Laure beach.

Alain, as well as 2 other bystanders, went to the rescue of the 6 children, who were being dragged out by a strong current. One of the men, Mr. Ronny Laurette unfortunately didn’t make it. Alain spent the night recovering in the Intensive Care Unit of the Seychelles Hospital. He is now home safe and well. Let us welcome him back to work, with well wishes and congratulations for his brave and selfless act. Alain embodies the spirit of community that is at the heart of what Gran Kaz aspires towards. Well done Alain, we salute you.
